Check the prediabetes rates among our generation. So many cheap sugary drinks. Followed by unlimited mimosas on the weekends for brunch.
We dressed up in our finest business casual, and left the club sweaty. We used to have to bring our own towel because we danced all night long and drinks were cheap and colorful and had fun names like incredible hulk. And camera phones sucked so people brought actual digital cameras into the club

Medical debt will no longer appear on the credit reports of New York residents. The change signed into law Wednesday by Gov. Kathy Hochul takes effect immediately.

An excellent, sobering letter that emphasizes the broken nature of Congress, which IMHO is an existential threat to the USA.

"Who will give up the rewards of private sector success for public service, if the added price is character assassination and wading though a Senatorial swamp like this one?"

I am once again asking writers to engage with how the campaign actually operated, and not just the right-wing fantasy of the election cycle.

Kamala Harris and the Dems focused on bread and butter issues: health care, the economy, worker rights. Every anti-immigrant or anti-LGBTQ ad was by the GOP.
Most Americans agree racism and sexism are problems. Yet identity politics were not salient enough to swing the election, writes Conor Friedersdorf. “If Democrats renounce identitarian stereotyping and discrimination,” their coalition and America will benefit:
