The BEST thing about all these billionaires being obsessed with longevity is that when we hit em with that Reconstruction 2.0, they're gonna spend 100 more years living in a 2 bedroom apartment, taking the bus to their living wage service job.

I didn't fully realize the scope of how much legislative content was being disappeared and the knowledge Jess shares here is a gold mine for the rest of us.
I was really going to wait longer to post this until I'd added all the examples to github, but since clearly the pace of 2026 may actually outstrip 2025: here is a rough guide to archiving legislative and congressional hearings. 2026 is going to be an all-hands situation. We need eyes on everything.

My favorite Idaho "fact" was that it has more Mormons per capita than Utah (it does not) but I just found out that the name Idaho was MADE UP BY A MINING LOBBYIST and comes from nothing/nowhere and that is absolutely hysterical (and my new favorite Idaho fact)

Hey pals, any PNW folks available to foster these cuties?
Seattle and Portland area folks:

These two sweeties need a new foster home by December 12th. One boy, one girl, both fixed. They’ll come with food, toys, and litter (also a cat playpen if you want it).

Would really appreciate any shares to cast a wider net.
