Universal healthcare is pro-labor.

We want people to pursue careers they're passionate about—whether that means starting a business, changing fields, or going on strike—without fearing the loss of their healthcare.

These are scary times, and it’s okay to feel afraid. The challenge is learning how to respond instead of retreating. This piece offers insight into managing that fear and transforming it into courage, understanding, and tangible steps forward.
The Fear Factor
The right and the left both use fear to drive politics, but the difference in how is striking

The largest group in ICE detention is now immigrants with no criminal record, with more than 16,500 currently being held.

Don’t fall for Trump’s lies about going after the “worst of the worst.”

This was never about legal immigration. It was always about cruelty.

This tariff policy disrupts an integrated economy, hurts small businesses, and disrupts what is an important opportunity for the United States to grow more jobs for the future. Building alliances and strengthening our innovation economy is what we should be doing.

worth reiterating that in literally any other context a 10% tariff on Japan alone would be getting wall to wall financial news coverage, would be considered the largest trade war escalation in modern American history and the dumbest economic policy move by a President in decades

By defying the Supreme Court’s order to return Abrego Garcia from El Salvador, Trump is laying the groundwork to do the same to U.S. citizens.

Now is the time to speak out — before there is no one left to speak.

We are on a path towards dictatorship.

I don't relish being the bearer of bad news, but those saying Trump cannot realize his desire to send US citizens to Salvadoran prisons are wrong. There's not only a legal way to do it, but the plan has been pitched to him and he's already on board with it. It's explained here:
Yes, Donald Trump is Planning to Send U.S. Residents En Masse to Death Camps in El Salvador Run By Dictator Nayib Bukele
The White House meeting on Monday between Trump and Bukele isn’t quite a Hitler-Stalin summit, but in the context of this century’s politics and America’s descent into fascism, it approaches it.

The argument in the text is they can’t accomplish their policy goal while following due process (and therefore the standards should flex). That’s a general purpose argument for fascism, not one specific to immigration.
The VP seems to suggest a suspension of due process rights to tackle illegal immigration. This would be in line with El Salvador’s Bukele but not the U.S. Supreme Court

Kilmar Abrego Garcia lived in Maryland with his wife and their three children, and has never been charged with any crime.

The Department of Homeland Security issued him a work permit, and he joined a union, working full time as a sheet metal apprentice.

It's not relevant whether Abrego Garcia has committed thousands of crimes. Disappearing him off to an El Salvadorean maximum security prison *without due process* is wholly illegal totalitarian bullshit. Everyone who has been sent there by this administration should be brought back, not just him.
