It is odd to see Tim Davie held up as champion of vigorous BBC journalism …he did more than any DG to blunt its edge with big cuts on key programmes and nothing to stand up to bullying of johnson government and henchmen like Gibb, Prescott and Grossman… in end a weak DG reaped what he had sowed.

Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

Brexit the Elephant thinks Lord Kinnock is probably right in his assessment.

“But I don’t live in the broom 🧹 cupboard”, he thought, also rather offended at being referred to as a ‘mammoth’. 😱

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

There are those who believe the bbc is biased … one of those is the FarageRight who the bbc and its political appointee Robbie Gibb who helped set up GBeebies have courted for years

Mostly Brexit as deregulation was founded on the misconception that only Brussels regulates rather than this being a global phenomenon that incredibly even includes supposedly free and easy (ha!) Singapore. A flawed premise that therefore couldn't succeed.
"Seizing Brexit opportunities to deregulate" was mostly unspecified magic fairy pixie bullshit then, and it's not going to get any more realistic in the hands of a bunch of Reform clowns who don't know how anything works, don't care to learn and disdain anyone that might.
