Last week, we discussed school buildings. Students made a sketch (from memory) of the secondary school they attended.
So many great examples from all over the world - from a small school in Chile boasting a slide from classrooms to playground all the way to a large Silicon Valley campus

Quite funny and beautifully written: the driven, overworked academic as being infected

Interestingly, it took an actual infection (with Covid), triggering #LongCovid in my body to cure me from academic madness

Still not recommended though - wish I could have found slow scholarship by myself

Reframes #academia as an infection for which the causative organism may be less easy to define, but that can be just as insidious on affected individuals (clinical academics)!
