Two things can be true at once: 1) Trump and Miller were hoping a civilian got killed by ICE, so they could have a big public fight about it.

2) This killing may not work out how they hoped.

I am pleased to announce that I have commandeered my neighbor's home. This home will be sold at its Market Price, and that money will be controlled by me, to ensure it is used to benefit my neighbor and me! Thank you for your attention to this matter!

For me J6 was a final, unmistakable signal: this is all out in the open. There are no more dog whistles, no more hints & suggestions. Nothing is hidden. Words are pointless -- there's nothing to uncover, nothing to point out. If you see this & continue down the same path, *it's because you want it*.

If the DEA had killed 80 innocent Americans in the course of apprehending one drug dealer, there would be riots. But we are so ghoulishly indifferent to the lives and humanity of people abroad that it's barely even part of the conversation.
A reminder that the US killed 80 people in Venezuela, and it would be nice if the US media cared enough to think that the life of a grandmother in Caracas whose building is destroyed by a US bomb matters as much as the life of a person in the US.

The oil companies are a co-equal branch of government. So are the tech bros. Congress isn't.
Donald Trump acknowledged that he informed oil companies about his plans to attack Venezuela and abduct its leader, despite not bothering to notify Congress.

Trying to decide which of my No Blood For Oil signs to bring out. The one from Bush 41? Bush 43? The other one from Bush 43?

These chucklefucks are all the same: they can't govern, and when the stupid people who voted for them start to notice their failure, here comes the lawless invasion.

Venezuela seems like less of a war or invasion than a Viking plundering campaign from the Middle Ages. They surprise attacked, they stole stuff, they killed some people, they kidnapped the king, they left.

It’s medieval—which makes sense because we’re rewinding to before the Treaty of Westphalia.

Also, when reporters start talking about the chatbots this way, it is imperative to remind them they are basically asking a toaster for comment. They should be a lot more embarrassed about this than they currently are.

“Grok told CNN…” no it didn’t. You typed stuff into an unreliable calculator.

And you'll stop talking about Epstein.

Every American should be ashamed of who we are and what we have become as a nation today. We have a long history of military misadventures and even crimes but the attacks we have been conducting on Venezuela are among the most wanton, egregious and least defensible acts we’ve ever conducted.
