A 2nd Tahoma Agate piece for #day3 of #ArtAdventCalendar features an other-worldly landscape. The dark band in the middle is the edge of land with sky above, and a white cliff on the left. I added a moonstone and call it 'Moonrise on a Distant Planet'. It's huge, over 3", and I kept it for myself 😃
Sterling silver pendant. The primary stone is a soft triangle shape. It has a jagged band of white and gray along the left edge; the band looks like a white cliffside. The rest of the stone is horizontal stripes in varying widths, the strips are soft and are blues, yellows, grays, and browns. The top band is thick and is blue and black, looking like the edge of a planet's atmosphere. Below that is another thick yellow and white band that is the planet's sky. The bands on the lower half resemble a changing landscape. The stone is attached to a round silver wire. At about two thirty, as you'd read a clock, there's a large moonstone gemstone. The moonstone is a sparkly and milky white and represents a moon.

Day 3 of #ArtAdventCalendar: I enjoy experimenting with new colors and media and techniques on the various paper I've accumulated over the years of Art Supply Adventures. These are representative shots of each side of a dual-sided piece.

This pendant's main stone is Ruby in Fuchsite. I thought it was quite Christmas-y, so I added a thick wire to circle the stone and a rhodolite gemstone to represent Rudolph. It had a clever Christmas name, but I forget what it was.

Sterling silver pendant. It's a four-sided shape, the left and bottom sides are at 90 degrees. The right side slopes left and the top slopes up. The main stone is different shades of green with abstract spots of pinkish-red. Toward the top of the pendant there's a rectagular silver wire shaped in an oval. It's attached to the back of the pendant and raised over the front. On the wire there's a round red gemstone. The overall effect is of the wire being an orbit around the large stone.

I went way back into the archives for Day 2 of #ArtAdventCalendar for this jewelry box made from stained glass. Yes, it's all one piece and the drawers do open.

The black in this Stefoinite looks like a spooky tree on a hill, with a shadowy mist. I wanted to add a moon, but a white gemstone was too bright, so I used a rhodolite garnet; it's the color of the moon during a blood red lunar eclipse and completes the scene perfectly.

This is a sterling silver necklace with a scene of the shadowy figure of a dead and decaying tree on a hill's peak during the darkness of a lunar eclipse. The scene is created from one jasper cabochon stone and one gemstone. The main stone is a tall and narrow triangle with rounded corners, and is brown and black. The black looks like a soft peak of a hill, and at the top of that hill more black branches up like a dead tree with the remains of a few branches on it. The brown background is a tan color with a ribbon of lighter tan curving up from the hill and behind the tree. The stone is set in a bezel. The bezel is attached to a round silver wire that has series of textured lines hammered in it. This circle of wire is meant to represent the orbit of the moon. If you imagine the circle as a clock face, at the one thirty position there is a bezel set round gemstone. The stone is a rhodolite garnet, which is a reddish-pink in color. The color of this gemstone is similar to the color of the moon during a total eclipse that is called a blood moon or red moon.
