A monochrome (Black and white) photo of a waterfall in Winter with snow and ice, as it drops over a suspended cliff face into a bowl made from ice and snow at it's base. The ice clings to the underside of the cliff, mainly behind the waterfall on it's left. The cliff face dips down from both the left and right, forming a wide "V" shape where the waterfall drops. The edges of the cliff are coated with snow and beyond the edge are tall dark conifers with snow on their branches. The cliff faces are roughly textured in mottled grey stone and dark mosses. There is a cavity behind the falls, below the hanging part of the cliff, where the blown white ice from the freezing waterfall spray collects in a slope down into the built up bowl where the base of the waterfall is hidden inside. In the foreground, a slope of snow descends steeply from center left, then sweeps to the right more gently to the right of center. The slope has some leafless brush visible poking up out of the snow. To the right side in the foreground is a small slim tall conifer standing all the way to the top of the photo on that side.

For #Stunday, I'm drawn back to #Moab, and #ArchesNationalPark in #Winter! My very first trip there!
I was blown away by the very alien landscape to the #PNW.
Everything is shades of ORANGE! 😆 And the vast #Landscapes, omg... I took well over 2k photos.

These dominate the lower 3/4 of the image, with light coming from the off frame sun to the right. White snow is visible as patches in shady areas of the rock formations. From the bottom right corner, a two lane road is visible with two cars on it headed to the left in the far lane. The road disappears between sandstone formations in the middle bottom of the image. The top third of the image contrasts strongly in color with the bottom of the image. It is mainly blue from distance, and shows a tall range of snow capped conical peaks, their lower flanks draped with darker blue forest. This is inside of Arches National Park in Utah near the town of Moab. The distant peaks are the La Sal mountain range.

Last week, United moved my BF and multiple others out of Economy Plus at the last minute because they separated a bunch of very young kids from their parents. But toddlers don't need extra leg room, United. They have Economy-sized legs. 🤷🏼
