My Second picture of the Day is of a Green Woodpecker that I saw while on Vacation Captured through a window so it’s not too clear unfortunately.
Captured on a Canon EOS R50
The picture shows a woodpecker perched on the edge of a wooden surface, likely a fence or decking. The bird has distinctive features: - A bright red crown on the top of its head. - A black mask around the eyes with a white stripe above and below. - Olive-green upperparts and wings. - A pale greenish-yellow belly. - A yellowish patch visible on the rump. - Greyish underparts with some faint barring. - A long, pointed beak typical of woodpeckers. The background is a blurred greenish-yellow, suggesting grass or foliage, and there are a few thin, leafless twigs visible behind the bird. Good Evening and Goodnight BlueSky Folks! My Final picture of the Day is of a common kestrel that I saw while on Vacation Captured through a window.
Captured on a Canon EOS R50
The picture shows a small bird of prey perched on the top of a wooden fence or post. The bird has a compact, sturdy build with brownish plumage featuring intricate spotting and barring on its back and wings. Its underparts are paler, with a creamy or buff color on the chest and belly, and it has a distinctive dark "moustachial" stripe running down from the eye. The tail is barred and slightly fanned. Good Morning And Happy Tuesday BlueSky Folks! Here is a picture of a pair of Eurasian jackdaw that I Managed to Capture last week
while on one of my Daily Walks.

The building visible through a bare, dark tree is the Great Synagogue in Budapest, Hungary. It is the largest synagogue in Europe and the second largest in the world. The synagogue was built between 1854 and 1859 in Moorish style according to the plans of architect Ludwig Förster. The façade consists of red and light-coloured bricks with oriental motifs and two towers with Byzantine domes. Inside, the synagogue can accommodate almost 3,500 worshippers.

Photo taken from the Bishop's Road - so-called because Frederick Hervey, the Earl-Bishop, liked to use this route when travelling from Derry to Downhill. Perhaps he liked the road because it gives such a good view of the Mussenden Temple - built for him around 1783 - standing on the edge of the cliff. The trees currently obscure the view of Downhill House. Beyond the Temple, Portstewart is visible with Portrush further away and the headlands of North Antrim in the distance.
