Dendrobates tinctorius 'azureus', the blue poison dart frog. interest facts: 1. poison dart frogs don't actually make the poison, they collect the toxins from certain insects they eat through a process called sequestration. these frogs in captivity, if not fed those particular insects, will lose their toxicity as the poisons diminish over time. 2. the black spots are as unique as your fingerprints.
