My photo of the lake with the South Downs in the distance appearing blue in colour. The geese are in silhouette near the middle just above the hills. (It was the first sunny day for a while but it was cold and round the lake an icy wind was blowing.) The sky is blue dotted with mainly white fluffy clouds. There are reflections on the water and sun’s rays shine through the winters shrubs and trees which grow around parts of the lake and on little islands. There is pondweed in the foreground on the water.

Sunshine and shadows looking through the trees at Tibradden forest just outside Dublin. The dried out gorse is lit up with a bright ray of sun with further trees beyond the immediate grass and gorse. Out above the forest a blue sky, which lasted for most of the afternoon. Relief from the grey for a few beautiful hours.

We had 1 day last week with a blue sky in the morning + here it is.
I liked the way the hedgerow seemed to have been sliced to meet the horizon
One leafless tree stands to the right of the picture in amongst a hedgerow which has been cut with a flat top, the top edge of which runs in line with the horizon beyond, which you can see through gaps in the hedge. Above a blue sky dominates the picture with some white wispy clouds starting to appear.
