Me: Yes. My favorite song he sings is Put a Little Love on Me. My second favorite is You Could Start a Cult. (Pause to exchange meaningful smiles) I suggested to some friends recently that we really should start a cult.
My friend: Someone else said that’s the only way we’re going to get through these times. By being in a group but not a cult, a community.
Me: (nodding) Exactly. A headless cult.
And then we laughed hysterically. Luckily no one in the pub seemed bothered by our shenanigans.

That said, this is a book you can judge by its cover. The enemies to lovers journey between Lady Georgiana Cleeve and her rival gothic authoress, Cat Lacey, was perfectly lovely.

I felt the energy between these two immediately. It was more than chemistry, although they had that as well, in spades!
Their connection read like Insta-love and yet was something deeper….and did some larger force also want these two together? The ghost story vibes made this the perfect fall read!
Lady Georgiana’s little white dog stole the show and ended up being the icing on the cake to make this one of my all time favorite romances.
Now I’m off to manifest more books in this world! I love you, Crew!!!

Buried deep in the bill is a No Contempt Clause (Sec. 70302) in the House version that the Senate has rewritten called the Grassley provision. Both give Trump ability to defy court orders without consequences. This provision needs to be stripped out under reconciliation rules as not budget based.
