The thing to remember is that while ICE has always been like this, ICE has not always been around. It is not even 25 years old. We don't need it. We never did.
My fear is that people will start to get numb to these stories and tune out, or say, “Well, ICE has always been like this, it must be fine.”

It’s not fine. It’s abominable. And it’s terrifying.

listen, i do not like total war. but they have declared total war *on us* because they think there will not be consequences. all of these people are listed and have public names. you can shame them and their friends and their families and their children.

Izuku knows Kacchan is the best at everything he does. Whether it's studies, hero work, drumming, or simple games with their friends, Kacchan proves he's a natural at them all.

It's not Izuku's fault that he wonders if he's good in...other areas. (1/59)

I used to try to avoid posting about politics too much, because I know people followed me for art and comic stuff.

But politics are affecting my ability to exist and create art, so I'm going to keep posting about politics until it gets better.

I love that a white guy was flying the plane, a white guy was flying the helicopter, and a white guy gutted the FAA last week but somehow the blame is too much diversity.

What breaks my heart is that a lot of people I love and respect are conservative. They’re accepting and compassionate on a personal level but voted for hatred. They support evil incarnate and I will never understand how they could do that. I love them still but feel so betrayed at the same time.

Night night sweet dreamies

We don't even know how strong we are until we are forced to bring that hidden strength forward.

Your strength isn't standing up to haters. It's ignoring them and living your life, your way.

Women deserve to know the TRUTH about the impact of Texas' total abortion ban.

Today, I along with Rep. Gerry Connolly, Rep. Summer Lee, and Rep. Ayanna Pressley sent ANOTHER letter calling on
Texas to explain why it won't release maternal mortality data from the past 2 years after Dobbs.

i mean this really lovingly but it is the job of the individual to curate their online space. telling people to be quiet about the issues going on around them for the sake of peoples mental health is unintuitive. information has the right to continue to spread and you have the right to take a break

1/ RFK Jr. wants to observe unvaccinated kids in Samoa as a “natural experiment.”

This is disturbingly similar to the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment, where researchers let people suffer and die instead of treating them.

Let’s compare. ⬇️

Is everything terrible right now? Pretty much. But if you try to focus on all of it, you will not be able to function. So do what you can to make the world a better place to exist in- in the ways that you can & forgive yourself for what you can't. Doing something is always better than doing nothing.

No Executive Order should be executed if it would cause DAMAGE to the country. Half of Trump's "executive Orders" would cause INSURMOUNTABLE damage to many of the government's critical programs intended to keep America SAFE and HEALTHY. Those "orders" should be IMMEDIATELY VOIDED

I beg you if you haven't read any of Project 2025 please do! The first 16 pages tell you a lot. We need to stop being shocked by everything. This is a plug-&-play administration & it's all right there. Once we're clear-eyed about where it's going we can focus on what, if anything, we can do about it
