NC Republicans are stripping voting sites off college campuses because they’re afraid of young people and their power in elections. And that’s a powerful message for me to take to college campuses across the state in 2026. So run afraid, NCGOP. It won’t change your outcome.

The problem with this take is removing story from the OG would have made the film less critically acclaimed and would have always included the “but in the musical” tagline and I think it’s better to do what they did instead of just cutting scenes and upsetting the authentics.
I actually think the first act is a perfectly good self-contained story. My ideal solution might've been to fold "For Good" and Nessa's heel turn into the first movie and then not made a second movie at all.

We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.

So if 86 Dems (including all Dem House Leadership) voted for this and 98 (caucus majority) voted against this…. Does this finally show they need new leadership?!
In a country where the cost of living rises but wages don't, where illness can leave you in financial ruin, and where the young feel they have no chance at any upward mobility, 86 House Democrats joined Republicans to pass a resolution denouncing “the horrors of socialism.” trib.al/YmIjeGU

Five corporations control 90% of the US media market.

Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today.

Four giants control 80% of meat processing.

A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry.

The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.

A Trump-appointed judge blocks Trump’s Texas gerrymander.

In a bombshell decision, a federal court in Texas blocked a new congressional map that was created after President Donald Trump demanded that the state redraw district lines to hand Republicans five new seats.

Puzzling that the centrist pundits who are arguing for a "big tent" Democratic Party are the same people who spend all their time on social media attacking the left. The Venn diagram of these two groups is practically a circle.
Meanwhile, if you take Dems and subtract the left, you get 2000 and 2024
