COMING UP: Judge Immergut has set a hearing for 10 pm ET tonight (!) on Trump's effort to circumvent her temporary restraining order re: Oregon national guard deployment by calling up the federalized California national guard.

Maybe we shouldn’t let someone who doesn’t believe in germs and who thinks it’s okay to eat roadkill and swim in contaminated ponds be in charge of our national food safety.
A federal-state partnership that monitors for foodborne illnesses quietly scaled back its operations nearly two months ago.

As of July 1, the critical surveillance program is monitoring for only two pathogens instead of the usual eight, a spokesperson for the CDC says.

We are seeing in DC what we saw here in Los Angeles: a federal use of military force against the lives, property and livelihoods of your fellow Americans. This is not a distraction. This is an escalation.
I am begging y'all to stop calling the militarization of a major city a "distraction".

If *YOU* would rather think about Epstein--- and not about the forced mass displacement of human beings--- then just say that.
He’s going to take over DC to avoid talking about Epstein.

Which was why Tim Walz calling people obsessed with bathrooms and gender "weird" was the right thing to do. Shame works.
the right are incredibly effective at shaming the left into submission, even the hardest leftist seem to be embarrassed at the idea of being 'woke' these days, even though it's the correct thing to be, even if it's annoying.

Of course, Ukraine didn't tell Trump about the surprise attack because it would no longer have been a surprise to Putin if Donald knew about it. I wonder if Zelensky was wearing a suit when he kept Donald & Vladimir in the dark. Probably not.

Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.

They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.

France also gave us this land as American soil.

Not to harp on the Bengals and Cowboys (again) but the Myles Garrett deal really hammers home why their approaches of dragging stuff out is the worst way to do things.

Two years ago they could have signed or traded Tee for 22M a year.

A year ago they could have done Chase for 35M a year.
