Full-on antisemitic blood libel outside Union Station yesterday. This is disgusting and unacceptable. And it only undermines the fight for Palestinian rights by falsely linking it to this hate.

Two statements that both appear to be true, based on preliminary polling data:
1. A strong majority of NYC Jews voted for Andrew Cuomo for mayor.
2. A higher percentage of NYC Jews voted for Zohran Mamdani than Jews nationwide who voted for Donald Trump.
November 6, 2025 at 2:03 PM
Importantly: Mamdani seems to have won ~30% of NY Jews. I'm guessing once results are studied, that will mostly come from a majority of younger, more secular, more progressive Jews.

Jewish civil society needs to engage & wrestle w that outcome, not castigate it, bc that's not just a fringe bloc.
I have many differences with J Street, but they are absolutely correct about this. It is alarming to see so many American Jewish institutions act as though Mamdani is a unique threat to Jewish safety, while ignoring the mainstreaming of neo-Nazism by the current presidential administration.
