These early results from NY’s school phone ban are a huge win for learning and mental health. When students become more actively engaged with each other, we build a stronger foundation for the future of our communities.

This is proof that smart policy can make a real difference for everyone.
How the Phone Ban Saved High School
Since the bell-to-bell device lockup, teens in New York have rediscovered the simple pleasures of conversation, board games, and poker.

In Sep, I asked Noem why she reinstated an ICE agent 3 days after suspending him for assaulting a woman at 26 Fed. I got no response.

After confronting her, I finally got a response: the IG declined a crim referral on 11/25.

If the investigation was ongoing, why was he reinstated? We need answers.
SCOOP: @repdangoldman.bsky.social received a letter from DHS Secretary Kristi Noem outlining an investigation into an ICE officer put on leave after pushing a woman to the ground.

But the letter raises questions about how DHS investigates employee misconduct. www.npr.org/2025/12/24/n...

Empire Wind 1 would create 4,000 jobs and power 500,000 homes in NY, all while lowering energy costs.

But Trump stopped that project due to “national security risks.”

I’m demanding a classified briefing from Secretary Burgum and Secretary Hegseth to see what’s really behind this decision.
December 23, 2025 at 9:44 PM
Trump spends time renaming buildings after himself, resurrecting WWII-era battleships in his name, and renovating the White House, but can’t be bothered to lower energy and grocery costs or protect Americans’ health care.

We deserve results, not tacky rebrands from a bankruptcy-riddled businessman.

This reeks of corporate censorship to placate the President — exactly how Russia works.

If 60 Minutes cannot run a story without an admin response, CBS is handing over final approval to Trump.

We cannot allow our free press to give up its rights & placate a wannabe dictator.

We need answers now.

. @nynurses.bsky.social deliver critical care to New Yorkers every day, and right now they need our support. I stand with New York’s nurses in their fight for a fair contract. #SafeStaffingSavesLives
NEW: 97% of nurses at 12 NYC private sector hospitals have voted "Yes" to authorize a strike for better patient care. Contracts for over 20,000 nurses expire on Dec. 31.

As energy demand and prices both continue to rise, Trump has decided to pause ongoing and expensive offshore wind projects — including Empire Wind 1 in NY-10 — that would power 2.5M homes & businesses.

This decision is stupid, shortsighted, and puts China first and America last.

Grateful to join Hamilton-Madison House’s Holiday Pantry to help pack and deliver groceries to NYCHA residents in Smith Houses.

Thank you to all the incredible volunteers for ensuring our neighbors in NY-10 have the food they need this holiday season.

Americans are facing an affordability crisis under Trump's economy. Families who stretch to get tickets for a game should not also get gouged for concessions in publicly funded stadiums.

@deluzio.house.gov & I are introducing the HOTDOG Act to expose price gouging & push for fairer pricing.
Rep. Goldman pushes legislation to study 'price gouging' at sports stadiums
The proposed legislation is aptly named the "HOTDOG Act."

Justice for Epstein’s victims requires full transparency and accountability.

Yet AG Pam Bondi seems happy to blatantly defy the law explicitly requiring the release of the files with redactions for victims only.

This lawless administration knows no bounds.

Release the full files now.

ICE admitted this today during my oversight visit to 26 Federal Plaza:

60% of the people they arrest have no criminal history.

The Trump administration’s dragnet is targeting people who are not criminals but are trying to follow the law. We’re watching, and we’re coming back.

Foreign policy by Truth Social is neither leadership nor democracy. Neither is dragging the US into war with Venezuela for unknown reasons and without congressional authorization.

Jack Smith testified under oath that, contrary to Donald Trump’s baseless accusations, neither partisanship nor politicians influenced his decision to follow the evidence and the law to indict Trump for trying to overturn the 2020 election & willfully concealing our country’s most sensitive secrets.

Susie Wiles didn’t deny a word, and the American people should take notice.

A DOJ that botched the release of the Epstein files. A White House driven by vengeance. Policies even Trump's closest advisers admit caused real harm.

House GOP passed the Kayla Hamilton Act and used tragedy to justify policies that weaken anti-trafficking protections & endangers kids.

I offered my bill with @ramirez.house.gov as an amendment to reverse these harms & restore longstanding protections for unaccompanied children.

Rs rejected it.
The hypocrisy of those who would quote scripture asserting the preciousness of children, while they pursue new, cruel punishments for child refugees, is despicable.

More than 4 million will lose health insurance due to the House GOP’s refusal to extend ACA tax credits. Millions more will face higher premiums.

Speaker Johnson, enough with the political cowardice & start serving the American public. Put the discharge petition on the floor for a vote immediately.

Lawful immigration pathways are being weaponized by this administration.

Follow the rules and show up to your check-in? You risk arrest.

Miss a check-in? Your case is dismissed and you become deportable.

Secretary Noem knows this. I will continue monitoring 26 Fed until this abuse stops.

Sending masked, armed ICE agents into shelters to intimidate families without judicial warrants is unconscionable and illegal. Under Sec. Noem, DHS is routinely and clearly violating the law.

She admitted it last week.

9/11 survivors and responders have already waited too long for answers. Pushing yet another delay onto the next mayor only deepens the injustice faced by survivors and families who are still suffering the consequences of Ground Zero toxins.

Release the documents. The truth must come out.

Donald Trump can try to gaslight the American people all he wants, but numbers don’t lie.

The U.S. is in a recession. Unemployment is at a 4-year high.

And it’s all because of Trump’s tariffs and tax cuts for the wealthy.

As Ahmed Al Ahmed so clearly showed, when Republicans target and threaten Muslims simply for being Muslim, they abandon our core values and fuel hate and violence.

This dangerous and baseless Islamophobia has no place in our country, particularly from our elected leaders.
Across social media, Republicans are suggesting Muslims are a threat to peaceful society that must be deported, ignoring the fact that the day’s hero—Ahmed Al Ahmed, who grappled a gun away from the attackers—was a member of the local Muslim community. trib.al/yweEKWY
