I was honored to join my friends at Grand St. Settlement for a ribbon cutting at the Sunset Park West Child and Family Center. This is Grand Street’s third head start center in Sunset Park and will welcome 100 children with high-quality child care.

Today I joined Assemblymember Marcela Mitaynes for a small business canvass educating Sunset Park business owners about their rights in the event ICE enters their businesses.

It’s important to be informed. We’re here to let constituents know our offices are open to them.

The appalling attacks against three Muslim women in Bay Ridge are the latest example of the rising hate in our city.

New York must be a place where people of all faiths feel safe and I am committed to making that vision a reality.

As Trump’s violent immigration dragnet sweeps throughout our country, @newyorkstateag.bsky.social’s Legal Observation Project is a smart and crucial tool to fight against his lawlessness.
My office is launching the Legal Observation Project, a new initiative to send trained legal observers to monitor and document federal immigration enforcement in New York.

I'll always protect New Yorkers' constitutional rights.

Absolutely horrific.

And this is just one of the over 5,300 mentions of Trump in the Epstein files released on Friday. This and the other serious & sickening allegations that have been exposed demand thorough investigation.

How is this defensible, House GOP?

Release the rest of the files now.
Trump admitted to disappearing a 12 year old girl, and threatened to disappear another and kill their family.

This isn’t from a tip line — this is sworn testimony.

If they were willing to release this, imagine what they’re still hiding.

Trump began his attack on immigrant communities by trying to eliminate birthright citizenship, the law of the land for 125+ years.

That attack has now expanded to terrorize cities around the country, and to deprive many of the due process and equal protection rights enshrined in the 14th Amendment.

Instead of answering for violent raids and civil rights abuses, DHS is circulating propaganda on Capitol Hill trying to justify ICE’s unconstitutional home intrusions with “administrative warrants” and “removal orders.”

On World Cancer Day, I think of my father who passed away from a brain tumor when he was just 42. I join with the millions of families who have lost loved ones to cancer in honoring their memory and recommitting to rooting out cancer.

Why is DNI Gabbard involved, let alone leading, an investigation into a state’s election center? If this investigation is truly about fraud in 2020, then the DNI should have nothing to do with a law enforcement investigation.
Breaking NYT:

Behind closed doors, Tulsi Gabbard met with some of the FBI field agents responsible for the Georgia election office raid.

During the meeting, she called Trump.

Trump addressed the agents on speakerphone, asking them questions as well as praising them for their work on the inquiry.

House Republicans just enabled ICE to continue their lawlessness for another 10 days. But at that point, they’ll need Dem votes to continue.

We must not agree to another dollar for ICE until we add my amendment blocking the federal government from seizing voter rolls, ballots, or voting machines.
February 3, 2026 at 9:45 PM
On this day in 1870, the 15th Amendment enshrined in our constitution that the right to vote may not be denied because of race.

Whether it has been poll taxes, literacy tests, felon disenfranchisement laws, or – now – the SAVE Act, that promise has been under attack for more than 150 years.

All 5 ongoing offshore wind projects that were irrationally & arbitrarily stopped by Trump have been ordered to resume work.

The decision was supposedly based on new “classified information” that the courts rejected. I have repeatedly asked to see the classified information & have been stonewalled.

DHS OIG was asked by Congress to review ICE’s excessive force months ago.

Since then, these reckless, untrained agents have illegally intruded homes without warrants and used lethal violence against citizens.

And we have received no information about the OIG’s review.

Trump said the quiet part out loud: Rs “should take over the voting.”

We can't pass a funding bill that leaves the door open to this authoritarian brazenly promoting election manipulation.

The House must support my amendment that will block the federal government from seizing voting machines.

After making an appointment in advance, despite my lawful right to conduct unannounced visits, ICE let me into the detention facility at 26 Fed today, where I saw only 3 detainees & none being processed.

it is clear that ICE is rushing detained immigrants out of NY to avoid going to federal court.

Congress created FEMA to save lives during emergencies. Sec. Noem doesn’t have the authority to hollow it out, but that's exactly what she is doing.

Noem is again ignoring the law & jeopardizing emergency response nationwide. This recklessness will cost Americans dearly when the next disaster hits.
Sec. Noem's attempts to drastically reduce FEMA staff are unlawful; they'd gut natural disaster preparedness and put the safety of millions at risk.

That’s why we're fighting alongside a coalition of unions, nonprofit orgs, & local govts to ensure FEMA can continue protecting the American people.

Right now, qualified immunity makes it nearly impossible to hold ICE agents accountable for excessive force.

@ericswalwell.bsky.social & I are changing that with our ICE OUT Act, which creates enforceable guardrails & consequences when these secret federal agents violate our constitutional rights.

Black History Month reminds us that progress in our country has always been made by people who refuse to accept injustice as the way things are.

We honor the generations who fought for civil rights, voting rights, & equal protections by continuing to protect those same democratic foundations.

Reports of ICE activity in our communities can create fear & confusion which is exactly why Know Your Rights outreach is so important.

I was proud to join AM Lee & CM Marte to make sure our neighbors and small business owners have a clear understanding of their rights and protections under the law.

While this investigation should have begun immediately after Pretti’s murder, I’m pleased that DAG Todd Blanche finally answered our demand that he open it.

But DOJ cannot be trusted to conduct a full, fair and independent probe. This must be done in coordination with Minnesota law enforcement.
January 31, 2026 at 8:20 PM
DOJ's release of the Epstein files still does not comply with the law.

But even without the full release, we see why Trump has been so determined to cover them up: he’s all over them, including allegations that he sexually assaulted young girls.

Will Rs continue to support an apparent pedophile?
DOJ has since killed this link. This is what was there:
