These “profound investigative missteps” and “misstatements of the law” demonstrate how the DOJ’s corrupt politicization is not only an attack on the foundation of our democracy but also grossly incompetent.
BREAKING: Magistrate orders DOJ to turn over grand jury materials to Comey, finding real prospect that "government misconduct" may have tainted the case.

The Trump admin continues to cruelly attack our most vulnerable neighbors by withholding $400M in heating assistance for 1.5 million low income New Yorkers who won’t have heat without it.

Freezing temperatures are already here. Release the funds and stop playing politics with people’s basic needs.

As evidence of Trump’s involvement with Epstein mounts, he’s directed AG Bondi to double-down on his cover-up by creating absurd partisan smokescreens.

Survivors and the public deserve the truth about who was involved in Epstein’s child sex trafficking ring.

The DOJ can release the files today.

R’s want increased immigration punishment for animal cruelty.

But their bill excludes the animal cruelty of the Trump official responsible for overseeing the immigration system — Sec. Noem — who killed her own puppy.

My amendment changes the bill’s name to the Kristi Noem Canine Protection Act.

Proud to work alongside Vision Urbana Inc. and UA3 today as we distribute turkeys and chickens to the Riis Houses community ahead of the holidays.

Food insecurity shouldn’t be a reality for anyone in NY, and I’ll keep pushing for the resources our @nycha1934.bsky.social residents need year-round.
November 17, 2025 at 6:58 PM
Families already recertify for SNAP every 6–12 months and states are prohibited against requiring random reapplications.

Trump’s plan to “have everyone reapply” is yet another way to prevent our most vulnerable neighbors from putting food on the table.

It’s shameful, illegal, and plain cruel.

The Atlantic Yards Redevelopment Project is entering a new phase, and your voice needs to be a part of it.

On 11/18, Empire State Development is hosting a public workshop to discuss housing affordability, parks and open space, and future development.

Come help shape what comes next!

Grocers in every borough took a hit because Trump withheld food assistance. Some paid out of pocket so neighbors could eat. When others lowered prices to help, USDA threatened them.

I’m proud that New Yorkers showed true kindness by helping each other out.

It’s the opposite of Trump’s cruelty.
November 15, 2025 at 10:16 PM
Trump isn’t hiding it anymore: he’s weaponizing federal law enforcement to attack political rivals and continue the cover up of the Epstein Files.

Law enforcement isn’t his personal hit squad, and it’s past time for every Republican to go on record if they approve of this unacceptable behavior.

Grateful to partner with AM Grace Lee and Vision Urbana Inc to bring our community together today to deliver turkeys to NYCHA families.

While Trump rips food assistance away from nearly 300,000 New Yorkers through his Big Ugly Bill, we’re united in making sure our neighbors are fed and supported.

Thank you to TA President Camille and the Baruch Houses families for welcoming me this week. Painting this mural together alongside the incredible artists from ArtBridge was a great moment of community pride.

I’m excited to see these murals brighten our neighborhoods and lift up our moods.

Proud to join @cpcnyc.bsky.social tonight for their appreciation event celebrating 60 years of community, care, and advocacy. Their impact on families, seniors, and immigrants is felt every day across our city. Here’s to the next 60, and to continuing this work together.

Public service isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme.

It’s time to pass the Restore Trust in Congress Act and finally ban lawmakers from trading stocks. The American people deserve to be confident that their representatives are working for them, not their own financial interests.

Great to join CEC 1 for their annual legislative breakfast. These conversations are essential to strengthen our schools and public education.

I’m proud to partner with our educators to deliver resources and commonsense measures to give New Yorkers the foundation to achieve the American Dream.

If Starbucks can spend billions on executive payouts, it can negotiate fair contracts with its workers. The “Red Cup Rebellion” happens when a company chooses to retaliate against those seeking living wages.

I proudly joined the @laborcaucus.house.gov in demanding Starbucks bargain in good faith.
We're standing in solidarity with @sbworkersunited.org as they strike for a first contract ✊

For over 4 years, workers have fought for a fair union contract. It’s time for Starbucks to bargain in good faith and for workers to get the contract they deserve.

Californians voted to redistrict the state in response to Texas Republicans ramming through an unprecedented mid-decade partisan gerrymander.

Now Bondi is suing California — and not Texas — to override the voters.

The blatant and disgusting partisanship from the DOJ is destroying the department.

The Puerto Rican community has long been the beating heart of the LES, shaping our city through art, activism, and service.

This Puerto Rican Heritage Month, I was proud to join @marklevinenyc.bsky.social celebrating leaders like Daisy Paez and NYLFF for their decades of impact and inspiration.

I appreciate NYPD’s swiftness to protect New Yorkers seemingly under attack by masked, unidentified people, and hope the officers heal quickly.

Those unidentified people were plain-clothed ICE agents.

Trump’s immigration dragnet is turning our streets into a battleground. We will not tolerate it.
November 14, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Trump’s disastrous tariffs have raised prices on everyday essentials, and now he’s trying to clean up the mess.

Sec. Bessent can’t fix reckless policy with a Fox News interview. Working families deserve real economic leadership, not chaos and backtracking.
November 14, 2025 at 1:39 AM
Epstein’s own words, that Trump “knew about the girls,” speak for themselves.

Trump has directed his Republican allies to cover up the Epstein files because they expose him.

If he's done nothing wrong, then prove it. We have the votes. Now release the files.
🚨BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes.

Read them for yourself. It’s time to end this cover-up and RELEASE THE FILES.

Great to join UA3 and @henrystreet.bsky.social at the Harvest Festival to distribute food to our neighbors. While we fight to protect and fully fund SNAP, community groups like these are a crucial lifeline.

Thank you Don Hong and all the volunteers for helping make sure no New Yorker goes hungry.
November 13, 2025 at 11:03 PM
We have reliable direct evidence connecting Donald Trump to Epstein’s underage sex trafficking ring. Trump’s DOJ cover-up of Epstein’s crimes must not continue.

DOJ must release every piece of the Epstein files. No more secrets. The American people, the survivors, and the victims deserve the truth.
November 13, 2025 at 7:26 PM
In NYC, criminals posing as ICE agents tied up a restaurant worker and bagged their head.

Trump’s policy of militarized, masked raids doesn’t stop crime. It encourages it.

Real ICE agents must identify themselves and stop turning law enforcement into a tool of fear. Public safety isn’t a costume.
November 13, 2025 at 4:53 PM
After Speaker Johnson’s 50-day delay to help Trump cover up the Epstein Files, Arizona’s 7th District finally has the representation it deserves.

Congratulations and welcome to Congress, Rep. Grijalva!

I look forward to partnering with you to deliver for all Americans.
November 12, 2025 at 11:14 PM
Federal law requires immigration officers to identify themselves during arrests. But under Trump, masked agents are detaining people in secret, violating the law, and endangering public safety.

We’re demanding DHS and Secretary Noem comply with the law and protect civil rights.
