My colleague points out here that possibly one in seven requests to our library now may be assisted by LLMs.

When those point to fictional documents, that's a huge staff time drain. There's often no quick way to check if an undigitized primary source doc exists beyond physically pulling some boxes.

You can hear Jose scream in excruciating pain as an ICE vehicle runs over his foot while he's being detained.

His family says Jose is a good man, with no criminal record, who works in roofing.

He needs to be released from detention to receive appropriate medical care.

All across Europe, as well as in Japan, Korea and Taiwan, US allies are reading Trump's national security strategy and realizing that it was authored by people who view them as enemies while idolizing Vladimir Putin and plagiarizing from his recent speeches.

Trump admin Is attempting to massive cut federal transit funds, seeking to:
1–Eliminate transit account, which funds billions of $ in capital expenses for transit agencies
2–Prevent state DOTs from “flexing” funds for transit

These changes, if they occurred, would be devastating for US transit.
POLITICO Pro: Trump administration proposals seek to eliminate transit funding
DOT recently sent two proposals to the White House budget office seeking to pare back transit money.

Four journalists were killed by an Israeli strike on a Gaza hospital today, including Mariam Dagga, a freelancer with the @apnews.com. She has a 12-year-old son, who was evacuated from Gaza earlier in the war.

She was a true hero, like all of our Palestinian colleagues in Gaza.

@2avesag.as @nyc.streetsblog.org MTA shared plans with CB7 for adding new entrances and elevators to Brooklyn's 36 St station 9 months ago and I'm surprised I haven't seen any reporting on it.

This looks fantastic! And they're doing it with new head houses and only two elevators instead of three.

I mentioned this in the replies, but you absolutely should never leave the trail when you're hiking. Not only does it damage the environment, it's incredibly easy to get lost and die in the backcountry if you go off trail.

Always use a paper map that you got from the park and a compass.
