Yesterday evening, #SK2590 began its departure roll while on a taxiway parallel to the runway. Preliminary data shows at maximum speed of 107 kt prior to braking. The aircraft stopped before lifting off and passengers disembarked via air stairs. fr24.com/data/flights...

Last night, while departing Las Vegas, British Airways flight BA274 lost one of its main landing gear wheels. The separation of the right, rear wheel from the A350-1000 was captured on our automated live stream at the airport. The flight continued for a safe landing in London.

Air traffic in the US now compared to same time last week. About a 2,000 flight difference between the images as airlines have canceled more than 11,000 total flights today because of the widespread winter storms.

Airlines are canceling flights ahead a major winter storm expected to impact areas from New Mexico to Massachusetts. From Friday evening through Sunday, nearly 4,500 cancellations have already been posted.
