Lot of work without minimal planning and dependency analysis.
Why has „critical path analysis“ disappeared from the usual toolset of project mgmt (at least in IT, cloud native system and software development) ?

Am always amazed that nobody talks about it. No engineer is aware of being on the critical path.

1/5 Google’s 2024 DORA State of DevOps was on my reading list this weekend but instead I decided to read Rachel Stephens’ writeup over on the RedMonk blog. The most interesting takeaway this year is that CoPilots have become established in the SDLC but we’re not seeing gains in productivity.
