I don't know if these stats are accurate but I do know there are many many more hairdressers locally than GPs. Is that not the case where Streeting lives?
Can you see the problem 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wes Streeting can’t 🤦🏻‍♂️

31million/month consult GP practices with similar number having haircuts

102,000 hairdressers in England with 40,000 salons
38,000 GPs with 6200 Surgeries

On average people spend £400pa on hair
GPs receive £169pa per patient

I went to Waterstones to look for this book. Couldn't find it. Would have asked but there was only one person on a till (two floor shop) and a queue of about 12, so I left empty handed. Seems crazy for retailers to advertise to christmas shoppers but not employ enough staff.
Yesterday's Bankside Gallery talk about the book ‘Reframing Women Printmakers’ by PL Henderson - with the publisher and some of the fantastic printmakers featured in the book, below.

The BBC has apologised to President Donald Trump and withdrawn the edition of Panorama over which he threatened to sue for $1 billion, apparently satisfying two of the three demands made in a letter from his lawyer last weekend.
