If you want to read a new book coming out but don't want to buy it, a great thing you can do is ask your local library to order it. The more requests they get, the more likely they are to acquire it and then lots of people will get to read it who othewise wouldn't.

The internet as a whole has plunged beneath the Trust Thermocline. I applaud its impending demise.
People thought AI would take over military machines to kill us. Instead, it just gave us lethal search results and counted on our own stupidity to finish the job.
The real problem for Google now is that even if someone *completely fabricates* a screenshot where the AI Overview says you should "cook your baby in the oven for 3 hours at 450 F" or something, it will go instantly viral and no one will think it's out of the ordinary for a second.
