Every single public health leader who denied the fact that COVID is airborne created permanent conflicts of interest that mean they simply can't be trusted to provide accurate information on any airborne illness (including the flu).

Screwing up and wasting an enormous number of lives will do that.

How many times do we have to be right about what's going on before everyone recognizes the link with the huge conflicts of interest held by the public health and infection control leaders minimizing the impacts of airborne diseases like flu and COVID, and pretending nothing can be done about them?

Good Sunday morning friends!

It's another snowy one here in the Midwest.

Seems like the prefect day for Jesus to explain why OSU student Samantha Fornechy(daughter of a m4l member who defended J6 traitors in court) failed so epically on her "essay".

Hint: She can't write.

I’m not going to punish those that are trying either.

I’m not going to blame individuals for the lack of leadership on public health matters. That’s exactly what politicians would love us to do.

Canada is leading in safety with the new draft of the CSA standard on respirators.

@dickzoutman.bsky.social, @juliamwright.bsky.social, @mark-ungrin.bsky.social, and I explain key updates that bring protections up to date with the evidence on respirator use against airborne disease transmission.
The CSA’s revised standard on respirators should help us all breathe easier
New draft standards for respirator use recognize the importance of protecting workers and patients in health-care settings, where there is a higher risk of pathogen exposure

The flip side of this story is that cancer care facilities must have continuous-use respirator policies in place, along with high quality ventilation and air cleaning with HEPA units, and educate outpatients about COVID avoidance in the community - and the ones that don't are killing people.

When the government decided to let COVID-19 loose, they decided at that exact same time to do two things.

Make life difficult and lonely for elderly and disabled people.

Kill elderly and disabled people by playing dress up and pretend it’s 2019, because we want to be “kind”.

Far right MAGA-North politicians deliberately wrecking Canada's public healthcare system is evil, but predictable. But the infection control leaders going along with it because it aligns with their need for everyone to forget about their mismanagement of COVID deserve some real media scrutiny.
🚨 This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them.

This is not incompetence. It’s a deliberate choice to prevent as many people ..
