I despise AntiSemitism & the horrifying attacks on Jewish people, at the same time & from the same heart that makes me hate Gaza war crimes. I want much better security service action; way stronger gun laws; community & interfaith shows of solidarity. Not whatever this is.
Sussan Ley: I’m going to give the most opportunistic, unhinged press conference to try and get political gain from the tragedy that is the Bondi shooting. I’m even going to Criticise Penny Wong for not crying enough.

Michael McCormack: most unhinged? Hold my beer.

Compare Robodebt victims' compo to the quantum of Scott Morrison's publicly funded legal fees. It's shameful, reports Rex Patrick.

Incredible the entire press gallery is actually buying the line (promulgated by Netanyahu!) that Albanese is personally to blame for the Bondi attack.

No one is actually explaining how firing academics for opposing Israel’s genocide would stop two people who never went to uni from this shooting.

To be clear, what the LNP did is awful and utterly embarrassing, but they're so irrelevant politically it doesn't really matter.

What the _media should really focus on_ is how genuinely bad Labor's EPBC reforms are on climate! And, surely now Labor can't do a deal with the LNP, can they? ;)

Buffel grass is the biggest threat to the dry interior. It is wildfire grass and does not belong here.
Driving from Charters Towers to Cloncurry.
The entire way has pretty much been cleared and planted with buffel grass.
How are we letting this scale of destruction happen?
This is not food security and nutrition and economic responsibility, this is ecocide.

If your antisemitism envoy can’t be arsed saying anything about the actual Nazis parading around Melbourne and bashing dark people, it does kind of beg the question of why exactly you have an antisemitism envoy.

This is exactly why, by the end of the 1980s, a Conservative leader, Margaret Thatcher, could stand up at the UN General Assembly and say climate action was essential.

Because it was already clear, scientific, material reality.

Then the lying really started.
Climate models since the 1970s nailed it—most predicted global warming almost exactly as it happened.
