Some of the Queer As publications are here. This project has been part of the ARC Saving Lives program that we’ve been working on for the last 5 years. It’s been a joy to get to do the surveys, talk to people, and analyse the genius that is queer Indigenous creativity.

Our QueerTV project has been a dream featuring queer complexities onscreen. So many responses to the survey, and most importantly so many shows that we’re listing in the stream text videos that we’re including shortly. Pubs here, and the stats are kind of hilarious too!

Absolutely not. Conflating mental illness with white supremacy and the settler colonial ideology it rode in on is garbage. Western society is a system of hierarchies that require explanations for why some are allowed to control others. It is not a mental illness or personal failing
I’m convinced that hate, racism, misogyny and telling food stamp recipients what they can and cannot eat/purchase is a mental disorder.

I'm toying with the idea of applying the literary device of Grotesque in the new novel I'm writing. A darkly surreal Indigenous rebuttal of sad white girl novels. I think a necessary factor of using Grotesque in contemporary literature is refusing the abelism found within older works. #AmWriting
