It’s important to remember the expansion of detention is not a done deal, we have fought it before and we can do it again. Detention facilities deportation, stopping expansion will prevent them from carrying this out. For more follow @detentionwatchnetwork.org

I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.

Worth flagging that that 700% number is total BS and should be ignored.
1. They are coding non-assaults as assaults (as in Lander’s specific case).
2. They are greatly expanding their enforcement operations, which, numbers go up when you do that.
3. They themselves are assaulting people.
