I made the mistake of signing up for Xfinity at our new house when Verizon FIOS was available. It was an extra $40/month, but dealing with Xfinity support right now is making me want to pull all my hair out. About to walk through the closest store I can find and demanding they cancel so I can switch

I used to serve pizza to Keith Urban and salads to Nicole Kidman. I also told Robert Plant where to get his hot bar food weighed. (Yeah I used to work at Whole Foods in Nashville)

NEW: The death shadow cast by Musk.

“When U.S.-supported soup kitchens were forced to close, babies starved quietly, their mothers said, while older siblings died begging for food.”

The world’s richest man did this to the world’s poorest children.

Don’t ever forget.
In Sudan, where children clung to life, doctors say USAID cuts have been fatal
The Trump administration’s cuts to USAID had an immediate and deadly impact in war-ravaged Sudan, according to civilians, doctors and aid officials.

Avoid the violence/nonviolence debate. It’s a trap.

The only thing that matters is what actions lead to more justice and less harm.

Inaction and complicity in the face of brutal oppression is the worst form of violence. Never forget it.

A couple weeks ago, I wrote that the MAHA movement does not want to eliminate chronic illness- it wants to eliminate the chronically ill. Since then, RFK Jr’s actions and statements have only reinforced my belief that his HHS will target disabled and sick ppl.

RFK Jr.'s "MAHA" movement doesn't want to eliminate chronic illness. They want to eliminate the chronically ill.
Public health, modern medicine and disease mitigation will suffer under RFK Jr. because he sees sick people- not sickness- as the problem.

So I just got a new NAS (Synology DS224+) currently with just one drive. Only had my media server up for a few days and it already had a “Storage pool crashed” error and had to completely wipe the drive. But I’m confused how this could happen? Scanned drive and RAM for issues and everything passed.

I wanna say this is some kind of psychic prescience, but with these clowns it would be more surprising if it didn’t happen.
Just putting this here so we can use it when it happens.

I’ve been playing Blue Prince and it is beyond frustrating while still so compelling and addictive. An RNG puzzle game seems diabolical yet genius. Please, I just want my dopamine hits from solving things.

The slope isn't slippery; the frog isn't gradually getting boiled. Within its first hundred days the Trump administration has openly asserted the right/ power to seize and imprison anyone— including political dissidents, including citizens— and deprive them of any legal recourse at all.
