This guy is such a phony man.
Don’t let this White House lie to you. Believe what you see.

Alex Pretti was trying to help a woman off the ground. Then immigration agents tackled, shot, and killed him.

It’s time for them to get the hell out of MN.

I was always uncomfortable with the idea though I was fine with using them for lighthearted posts.

I used to be of the belief that electeds should act more casual to show they are of the people. But now I move towards enforcing official decorum since they are very much not.

As someone who wrote some of the first tweets by a democratic member of congress using swear words, I feel like a monster was created.

They really weren't meant to be used this way. Electeds use them to sound emphatic and hide that they are not acting.

The senators are even worse. They have always been able to shut down the floor and force debate on literally ANY issue and they just refuse to do it.

So climate change, universal health care, whatever. If Congress isn't working on it, every member is responsible.

Literally every single person's member is fucking them over right now. It's not even a debatable point. They all have the power to set congress's agenda with impeachment and they are refusing to do it.

There are still way too many Americans that do not realize how badly their politicians are fucking them over.

Everyone hates Congress generally but you still have way too many people who like their individual member for no good reason.

OTD in 1935 Hitler assured Poland he would not invade them. A few years later he said Germans were being oppressed & killed so he attacked, carried out genocide and spent the last years of his life in bunker detached from reality.

Imagine all that happening today.

If I hear one more big name former prosecutor attorney call for better training of fascist military forces that are killing people, I am going to yeet my phone into the sun.

As I said yest, there are legal commentators who are built for this moment, and PLENTY, including those on MSM, who ARE NOT.

One reason all the elected officials seem so annoyed by all this resistance is they told themselves when they sold their souls that everyone was as cowardly as them.

Now all these pain in the ass regular people who never even sat in a big chair are showing them otherwise.

That is also not a valid reason and also not accurate. The Trump administration is going to do whatever it is going to do. Pretending the problem doesn't exist and not using every tool of resistance available is not governing, it is cowardice.

And again if that's the reason, they should state it.

I understand that is scary. I am imagining myself back in the political system having to issue a statement about this and its giving me chills just imagining it.

But you know what? It's not nearly as scary as what all the people getting kidnapped are experiencing. And they aren't paid to be there.

It is 100% not acceptable for a governor to be not giving lawful and necessary orders because the national guard might say no.

Make them do it. The requests are not optional.

I keep hearing this and I want to be super clear this is a totally bullshit reason.

If the political system has lost control over its state militia it needs to immediately disclose that to the public.
An order to the MN national guards to oppose federal forces is an order that may very likely not be obeyed, and that’s clearly why Walz hasn’t given it imo.
