Every day is a teaching day. I love this.
You know the squiggly line above the Ñ in Spanish? It's another n. Back when Romance languages started to get an enie soung, they spelled it gn (Espagne) or nh (banho) or ny (Espanyol). Spanish used "nn". But to save money/space, they wrote one n about the other, hence ñ. That vergulilla is an n!

Huge respect to the papers for finding both an 88 year old worried about the tax bill on her 6 bedroom Kensington house and a 20 year old fretting about only being able to save £12k a year tax free.
Top work all around. These are not easy case studies to find.

Awesome encounter w The Bird of Death.
A magic encounter in the Daintree Rainforest of Far North Queensland.

I love how they're all absolutely silent respecting that bird and her babies.

JK Rowling got a full *decade* of press as a martyr for being "cancelled" (declared passe by people online) and meanwhile nobody considers it very interesting that a prominent left wing author is basically banned from entering or publishing in the United Kingdom for her politics
so this is like, one of the biggest free speech infringements by a western democracy in our lifetimes right?
