There's one set, at Willington in South Derbyshire where the power station was demolished long ago but its echelon of cooling towers remains. Popular with urban explorers, features on local school badge etc. We'll be holding a workshop in the town to gauge support for a rescue plan.

There is only Denis, Miss Parrott and me. We all get along very well. Miss Tomb is away, has been since January. I've been planting cabbages this past week.

A load of conflict avoiding Oxbridge types are going to negotiate with a sociopathic shakedown artist and just give him loads of our money aren't they #BBC

I also watched this David Hockney film, because I like watching David Hockney films. Of course the idea of David Hockney films is that we'll find out more about David Hockney but of course we never do. #BBC www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
Hockney: Double Portrait

This just made me laugh , you can tell folk used to go to the pub at lunch back in the day. This was clearly knocked up after 4 pints of Double D

TBH this is my view of the right wing philistines and wreckers assaulting the BBC "WHAT DO THEY LIKE?"
For reference. I might print this out and hang it in my house:

you're watching a movie then you see a boom mic in the reflection of a car window and all of a sudden real life hits you like a wave. You have bills. You haven't replied to your mum. Where is your birth certificate? Will you die alone??

Lots of people comparing Senate Democrats to Charlie Brown trying to kick the football, but that analogy only works in a version where Lucy has told Charlie Brown she's going to pull it away, and also that afterwards she's going to have Snoopy executed in a foreign prison

Obv the Right wing reactionary attacks on the BBC have been going on for a 100 yrs. It's a pernicious mix of wedge issue culture war, hard-line market absolutism but also deep seated philistinism. They are rotten terrible people who only seek to make the world worse while maintaining their power.

FFS I hope for balance BBC news is going to start every news report going forward by saying Donald Trump lies every time he speaks . Because all they are doing is producing soundbites for fascists .
