You've found the start of THE daily thread on Day 1370 of Russia's immoral and illegal all out war on its neighbour.

Some say things are not so bleak for Ukraine today.
Well, I'm still very angry with allies as well as the war criminals.

All help boosting is welcome 😊

We've got a MASSIVE DEEP-DIVE rebuttal to the NIH leadership’s recent essay. They're arguing for a head-in-the-sand approach to pandemic preparedness.

The great @angierasmussen.bsky.social joins me in an extraordinarily detailed, line-by-line fact check.

Starbucks backtracked on our path forward, failing to support the workers who are central to the company’s turnaround.

Sign & share the No Contract No Coffee pledge to show them that not bargaining higher wages and better benefits for union baristas is bad for business!

Did you know that in Canada, if a budget doesn’t pass the government doesn’t shut down?

Federal workers aren’t furloughed.

Funding for social services doesn’t dry up.

Failure to pass a budget triggers an election.

It puts the politicians jobs on the line.

They get the budget passed.
