Serious question: is this a violation of California anti-discrimination law, and if so, can California sue to enforce its laws for the Los Angeles games?

Caption and audio description editing at the point of creation as in Panopto and Yuja is great, but realistically if we expect to continue to use previously created video media, ai generated audio description which can be editted during play could be a big help.
Today's topic is usability/accessibility of educational video platforms (in/for higher education).
Youtube is ubiquitous.
It's the most used repository of videos for education.
But in HEd the top-down preference is for institutional/faculty created videos to be hosted on Panopto (Kaltura/Yuja).

thinking through a literature review...
as usual the topic I want to discuss is not sufficiently centered under the focus of past research, so scoping doesn't really work here
and it won't be a synthesis in the sense of comparing bodies of evidence and arriving at what has tipped the scales,..

Every month, one of my paychecks goes to childcare. The other goes to the mortgage. If I weren't married, I would have no money left over for anything else.
I have an inexpensive mortgage, and I have a very average childcare cost.

And the thing is: a lot of daycare workers are UNDER paid--like, outrageously!--and should get fair wages for the important work they do (yes, we do want that). What we also want is for parents (mostly mothers) not to be forced to stay home if they don't make > 2X as much as the cost of daycare.
You know what I was uncomfortable with? The cost of daycare.
We spent almost half my paycheck the year Doom was born on daycare.
Husband was out of work for first few months and watched kiddo w a friend watching him so husband could go to interviews. When husband got a job, we needed it stat.
