I cannot overemphasize that Marjorie Taylor Greene, Carlson, and Fuentes see a 2028 path to victory that involves building an isolationist populist coalition that traffics heavily in antisemitism and exploits existing negative sentiment against Israel.

We have to be SHARP on the left right now.

The GOP is trying to sneak legislation into a bigger bill that would preempt state laws around the regulation of AI, and create a national environment with very little regulation of the technology.

House Republican leaders are searching for a legislative vehicle they could attach language to that would effectively ban state regulation of artificial intelligence.

Nothing is a better demonstration of the anti-scientific nature of banning trans women from sports than the fact that the IOC's OWN STUDY found no evidence trans women have any advantage over cis women in sports, but they're planning on going ahead with banning us anyways

1-year ACA funding extension
Bipartisan cmte to negotiate on health care

They are also intentionally conflating machine-learning and generative AI slop to confuse and try to make GenAI seem necessary. Google Maps traffic stuff is machine learning, not GenAI, for example. Auto-correct is too. Don't let them make you lose the thread. GenAI slop is slop.

As a white, liberal/left American man, I feel the need to categorically state this: I have never had a Nazi phase. I have always been a bit annoying, but never a Nazi.
i actually don’t think the “average” american millennial man had a nazi phase. it’s not some boys will be boys shit. this makes me side eye you and your friend group, sounds like a personal problem

There is a genre of White Dude In Progressive Politics that makes his whole brand about how he "gets" the white dudes that Dems simply cannot reach.

The problem with these guys is, the Dems don't reach those dudes because they are racist reactionaries
I think that Platner's story about being a drunk Marine is probably true to an extent, but it seemed like he also relished the edginess of it, knowing it was taboo. I think the taboo on Nazi symbology needs to be enforced, especially now.

this feels completely banal? yes, a big tent political party is going to include voters who have bigoted views. i don’t think anyone has argued otherwise? the actual question at hand is “to what extent should a political party ostensibly committed to equality appeal to popular prejudices?”

They make up lies about paid agitators doing violence, and attach them to the name of a prominent Jewish person. This is antisemitism, and it infects every part of the GOP.
Sen. Roger Marshall: "October 18 is when the protest gets here. This will be a Soros paid-for protest for his professional protesters. The agitators show up. We'll have to get the National Guard out. Hopefully it will be peaceful. I doubt it."

Hey I talk and think about this all the time. This circular “just asking questions” routine is a classic of the genre for AI boosters. They do not want to come to an agreement with you, they want you to roll around in the mud until you doubt yourself. Do not waste your time
This assumes that LLM responses are random which is incorrect. LLM responses are clearly context-based to the question asked.

Can you do the same to dice?

Then again, even dice are constrained by the number of faces they have. You can't get a 20 on a d6 or d12, can you?
