oh i think complaining about privacy concerns to electeds is absolutely the move. but privacy won't be a concern until "regular" people force it to be via some kind of argument like "they're exposing my personal information because they want to keep kids from learning about trans people" etc.

Just a couple of quick observations about the discord stuff:

1) if you have an account older than six years/your usage fits a certain pattern, they’ll flag you as an adult without any documents (or so they’re suggesting)
2) this kind of age ID seems to be coming for every platform.

i firmly believe apple forcing tumblr to remove porn and adult content (and tumblr management caving and ruining its cultural relevance) is one of the horsemen of the apocalypse for our current cultural moment. a massively maladjusted and combative cohort metastasized into every other network.

CNBC is the most conservative of the NBC offshoots by a wide margin. this is a lot of slippage for them.

Hey friends, I was really hoping to avoid this but I need some help. I'm trying not to over draft before I get paid at the end of next week. If I can raise $150, everything will be "cool". Any little bit helps. Below is my paypal. My venmo is @ pat-baer

I need a crypto bro to walk me through this insanity for a story!! I'm working on a piece about Creator Capital Markets--basically, people are now trading based on how viral someone is.

Any experts or those knowledgeable in this space? Hit me up!

tapping the sign.
see also: valve probably doesn't quite know how much the steam machine has to cost not to lose money on it when it launches (almost like we just saw multiple companies including lenovo and asus delay and stutter-launch gaming handhelds because of component pricing/tariffs, weird).
if you need RAM or are planning on building a PC in the next few months, if you see a decent deal in the next 10 days, you should buy it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hLi...

i'm going to stream some more nioh 3 and probably talk about steam hardware and how everything is going to be delayed and more expensive than anybody wants it to be: twitch.tv/aegies

i'm going to be honest, i think there were conversations happening inside valve that this wasn't going to make Q1 *while press was there for the reveal event.* and if there weren't people at valve saying "guys i think we've got a problem" then they're not serious about hardware.

the last time i installed windows it was for the 9950x3D launch, and used i devhome to batch install apps, which was amazing (if a little finicky), but MS killed winhome, so now I'm diving straight into winget for a fresh install (i figure after 40+ GPU installs, it's probably time).
