#Healthcare should not be where people go to get sick. We advocate #ventilation, air cleaning measures and the wearing of proper #respirator masks, e.g. #ffp3.

The exclusion of people with MND from automatic eligibility for a Covid booster is not only medically indefensible, it is economically disproportionate.

Clifford Rowe’s paintings reflect the spirit of realist art in Britain during the interwar years, portraying people at work and at leisure. 'The Fried Fish Shop,' (1936) draws on personal memory and social history, recalling a once cheap, filling meal for the working classes.

After much campaigning from parents, clinically vulnerable children were eventually vaccinated. My family in October 2021. Then omicron arrived so they were quickly out of date. A further delay which meant better protection didn’t arrive until the spring 2022. It was only at this point that any 🧵

The main cause of absence in schools: illness

Flu is dangerous to children and adults - especially if unvaccinated

Children and school staff can pass-on their illness to friends and family

100% Attendance Rewards used to be a thing; but they have no place during a big flu wave

Excellent news.
🙏 Thank you to all who campaigned for the National Covid Memorial to be preserved.
The volunteers were at Parliament today to hear the government announce that our beautiful memorial is to be made permanent. It was an emotional day, as we have fought so long and hard to ensure that our beloved dead are not forgotten. We are grateful and happy. ❤️

According to this 50,000 people in the US died of Covid in 2024. It seems like an extraordinarily high figure for something that is no longer supposed to be a concern - even if you leave LC aside.
Why you should continue to get the COVID-19 vaccine every year!

📢A public health campaign is needed to inform people about the benefits of high-grade masks in an outbreak.

😷Why isn't FFP2 a minimum requirement in healthcare settings?

🛡Why haven't Clinically Vulnerable people been informed?

We are not powerless against infections. #Flu is on the rise in the UK and hospitals are full. #Covid is always circulating. Wearing an #FFP3 respirator mask in shared, indoor spaces can reduce the likelihood of getting infected.

This is such an important episode. It explains a lot of experiences we have living in women’s bodies.

This is a terrific and balanced account of the recent Covid Inquiry module from a former Whitehall researcher. Please share it as the media largely ignored any evidence presented which was not about harms from lockdowns.
Here is my blog on the recent Covid Inquiry hearings - module 8 Children & Young People. It highlights how clinically vulnerable children/households are ignored, indeed punished for needing to stay safe. Change is needed: improved safety; support and status. livingonplagueisland.blog/2025/11/03/t...

Who wants to spend weeks feeling grotty? Even if you think you are not at risk from Flu, Covid, RSV or any other air-borne disease - ventilation, ffp3 masks and air filters are all effective ways of avoiding getting ill and spreading it to others who might be seriously affected. It’s worth it.
On #WorldVentil8Day we are reminding everyone:

💨 Clean indoor air saves lives! 💨

Flu risks are high this year and ventilation, filtration, high-grade masks, and CO₂ levels still matter.
