Here is my blog on the recent Covid Inquiry hearings - module 8 Children & Young People. It highlights how clinically vulnerable children/households are ignored, indeed punished for needing to stay safe. Change is needed: improved safety; support and status. livingonplagueisland.blog/2025/11/03/t...

The module eight hearings ended recently after a busy schedule including an appearance by the former PM Boris Johnson appearing for the first time since Autumn 2023. This short blog outlines select…

🚨Gavin Williamson former Education Secretary

Sadly, there were no inquiry questions of CVF's children but we had 8 mins of questioning. However, Gavin did raise them - without prompting.

Do watch the highlights!

Exactly. Cathy and many people I know from the CV community are completely well informed, well balanced rational people who navigate the appalling situation facing those who need to avoid catching COVID with aplomb. I am proud to know them
Cathy works at a high level in the NHS. She and at least one of her children is CEV. She isn’t avoiding covid because of MH issues.
Maybe some people are but not Violet Affleck, not me, not many people I know who are in well versed in the science or are high risk.

CVF has been collaborating with the Electoral Commission and has requested clarification on this point. However, because the legislation isn’t published, they can’t comment yet.

Inclusion in education:

For Clinically Vulnerable children and those in CV families, attending school shouldn’t mean risking their health.

💨 Clean air
😷 Respect for masks

Children are among those most frequently challenged for mask wearing.

4 yrs ago, “Freedom Day” left millions behind. For CV people, it wasn’t freedom but exclusion.

Secretary of State, Wes Streeting, recently announced that thousands of jobs are to be axed from the NHS.

Hopefully, between them, he and Sir Jim will resolve the crisis of incompetence and indifference to health and safety legislation which pervades senior management in NHS/IPC.
