Jones: Everything you hear from Tuberville is framed as a sports analogy. When you view everything that way, you’re always stuck in an us-versus-them, winners-versus-losers mentality. That’s how he operates.

But the fact that communities across Alabama are suffering is not a game.

Two babies were born in New York within a year of each other, soon after WWII.

One, Rob Reiner, lived a life of humanity and achievement. He brought us delight and joy. His memory will be a blessing.

The other, Donald Trump, will be remembered as an embarrassment to our nation.

The ACA isn't just "health care for people who don't have a conventional employer." It also disallows something that was incredibly common 20 years ago, which I fear is getting lost to generational memory: insurance companies could deny you health care for essentially any previous health problem.
I'm dubious about Amazon's commitment to keeping pre-existing conditions a thing of the past.

UofL with a huge road kill! Imari Berry is the player of the game but the team effort was what got us the win. Watch out ACC, this team is starting to figure it out. #GoCards #L1C4

CBS News has these 2 stories online ...
Dec. 12: "Trump says leaders of Thailand, Cambodia agree again to stop fighting"
Dec. 13: "Fighting rages on Thai-Cambodian border despite Trump's ceasefire claim"
Which one is displayed on CBS' homepage? The out-of-date one that makes Trump look good.

Nothing made me more sure that the NWSL salary cap was egregiously low than writing this article and trying to determine how teams could pay players a proper wage + retain “marquee” players.
I disagree with the NWSL’s proposed solution as it doesn’t solve the suppression of wages for the majority.
Linking @chloesainsbury.bsky.social’s article here bc she basically defined this exact profile earlier this year (in a more succinct and understandable manner, I might add):

I’ll assign responsibility: The surge of death that has resulted from slashing global aid lays squarely at the feet of Trump and Musk — and the cowardly Republicans in Congress who were afraid to stand up to them.

How we're manipulated by the media.
AP on Trump now, and Biden in June 2022.

For Trump, declining to 36 percent approval is “good news.”

For Biden, holding steady at 41% is “a source of concern.”

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

Shocking ahistorical error on NPR's Morning Edition, which stated as fact that America had "record" inflation under Biden, a frequent fact-free Trump claim.
Biden topped 9%, then brought it down to under 3%.
The record? 23.7% in 1920, but also 14.4% in 1947, and 14.8% as the '70s became the '80s.
