1. You feel powerless? Don’t know what you can do to resist the rise of fascism?
Here is an answer: Good Things.
Fascism inflicts pain and harm as a matter of doctrine.
Kindness, care and conviviality defend us from it.
The more we build community, the less it can take root.

Correct. If the birthdate field contains corrupt or mismatched data, it defaults to 1875-05-20, which serves as a flag. May 20, 1875, is the day the international standards and metrics treaty was signed. Everything is a conspiracy when you don’t know how anything works.

Part of thriving under collapse has to be to mourn the life that you thought you'd be able to live.

That will take a while. Most of us are not there yet.

There is absolutely no serious reason to be transphobic. At all.

Furthermore; If you are person of a systemically marginalized classification and you support it, you’re kind of a buster ass traitor.

Think firing the entire federal workforce will save America money?

Federal civilian employees account for just 4% of the federal budget. Even if someone like Musk—or any president—fired all of us, it wouldn’t make much of a dent in government spending. Don’t fall for it.

The audacity of Trump posting this shiny, polished piece of hateful propaganda while Dems are filibustering the Constitutional Crisis. Millions of lives are being thrown in chaos because of Musk and his interns. I truly do not know if Trump understands what's going on but I know he does not care.

Trump accomplished nothing with his trade war threat. He was talked down like a petulant toddler by the cooler heads of Claudia Sheinbaum and Justin Trudeau. They prioritized averting economic catastrophe above political noise and allowed Trump to think it was his idea. That's what happened.

Didn't realize coming for leftists would mean coming for Lutherans out of the gate. If you have 3 min, watch this response from Presiding Bishop Eaton. Her commentary ends with a rousing and harrowing parable of religious and political persecution.

Like, do we have a "Vote of No Confidence" equivalent? If not, can we get one quick?

Because I don't think the 25th Amendment will help here.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? Because I don't think our original plan of "just survive the next four years" is going to work out. Like on a National scale.

Should go without saying but the point of diversity in hiring is to find _better_-qualified candidates outside of stagnant social networks that don't reward merit, like the kind of network that would put an MTV personality with a marketing degree in charge of the Department of Transportation
