But our press continues to give that person a free ride
People that use tax avoidance schemes, offshore accounts, divide the people, impoverish the country, and ask dictators to impose sanctions upon us, should not be members of parliament, let alone considered for Prime Minister.
It’s called hypocrisy.
It’s traitorous.
Full stop.

This thread shows how close US is now getting to a constitutional crisis - as opposed to constitutional drama.

Once the executive freely disregards court orders without sanction then US pretty much has a constitutional crisis.

Things are coming to a head.
HAPPENING NOW: A federal judge who ordered the unfreezing of USAID contract spending is voicing frustration as a Trump administration lawyer repeatedly refuses to say whether they have actually taken any steps to implement his 12-day-old order.

Why do BBC give Laura Kuenssberg free rein to write this drivel?

"The big picture is tough. The country's debts are massive and taxes are huge."

It's not even wrong/biased. It's just vacuous twaddle that adds absolutely nothing to public understanding of the issues.

A tiny 2% wealth tax, on 20k people would raise £24 billion per year to spend on the things that urgently need fixing in our country.

We need some tax justice - the more money you have the less tax you pay and vice versa - that’s absurd.

A word for America. See also UK under the Tories
Oligarchy (noun): A government of and by a few at the top, who exercise power for their own benefit. Their power and wealth increase as they make laws that favor themselves, manipulate financial markets, and create monopolies that put more wealth into their pockets.
