Is RDR2 actually critically interesting? It keep coming up in these kinds of lists, but to me it seems like any other AAA open world "look at how much budget we could blow on details" game.
I've never seen anyone talk about something that makes it sound interesting beyond being a comfort game.

It's getting kinda hard to figure out which parts of my sexuality are from hypnotic suggestions now - did I always want these things or have I been told I want them in such a way that makes me feel like I always wanted them? How much of the original me is left in here?

I feel like the last couple decades of "is representation good or not?" discourse missed more important questions of "how fragile is representation?", "what do we do when multiple industries eliminate it as an intentional move against us?" and "how can we sustain queer artists when shit goes south?"
