In Oct 2023, an FOI revealed an actual wait at my nearest clinic (Exeter) of 17yrs & 3mos, a fact that stunned everyone I told. In one year, that's grown to THIRTY-ONE YEARS.

a reminder that the “first they came for” poem was written by a nazi who did not include how he actively contributed to everyone before him in the poem getting disappeared, which describes pretty well the average person with power in our society.
It’s gone so quickly from ‘boat people’ to all immigrants. So quickly from ‘I don’t mind if they come here legally and pay taxes’ to ‘actually it’s anyone foreign’. We are living in the ‘first they came for’ poem. All to give the population a scapegoat so the super rich can hoard yet more wealth.

Even back in the 70s and 80s when I could be hassled by the police for walking while trans, no one ever tried to stop me pissing in the Ladies or tried to make me change into my swimsuit among men.

This. Vaccines and paracetamol do not cause autism, but also autism is not something that should be eliminated, any more than queerness or lefthandedness or any other harmless minority characteristic.
I cannot believe this still needs saying, but, and I say this as an autistic individual, vaccines do not cause autism. Whatever comes out of the White House is aimed specifically at undermining recognition and support for autistic individuals, and minimising our lives and experiences.
