Japan marked 80 years since the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima during World War II.

Every day this woman gives me hope.
I wish I could mass-blast to everyone how impossible it is to destroy evidence collected in a legal investigation these days.

Even fifteen years ago, my law firm had thousands, and I mean thousands, of backup tapes, and hundreds of offsite servers.

The DOJ is the nation's largest law firm.

Please read this.
"I think it’s a pointless exercise that needlessly derails a simple truth that should horrify all of us: the Israeli military is literally shooting and killing starving people while they attempt to get food."

This woman teaches me something every single day.
There are going to be products liability mass tort actions against ChatGPT and others, and they will be what is referred to in BigLaw as “bet the company” litigation.

If one gets lost, the company will go down. Think asbestos, think Fen Phen, think Vioxx.

It’s coming.
it’s becoming increasingly obvious that there are many underlying mental health predispositions that make ChatGPT unsafe to use, and that more usage is more damaging—which means the company’s business model depends on people using the product in a way that risks triggering mental health crises.

Read this thread. These are human beings, most of whom followed all the rules in seeking protection and legal status inside the US. Hardworking people with families who suddenly found themselves detained and then removed to CECOT.

Gut wrenching.
On Feb. 15, José Manuel Ramos Bastidas called his wife from inside a Texas immigration detention facility.

He asked her to record a message, “just in case something happens to me.”
