I can't necessarily generalise more broadly from that limited data, but I remain sceptical that people fleeing other nations heading for the UK are doing so because they have sufficient knowledge of our immigration and benefits system to know they can abuse it.

I’m in Edinburgh, in a branch of my new favourite drinks outlet, @blankstreetcofee.bsky.social It’s my fave cos I don’t like tea/coffee but have discovered matcha and they are the best for matcha. So many yummy matchas! Anyway, I’m tickled and intrigued that fully 80-90% of the clientele is women.
