The Hawks have a Trae Young problem. How will they solve it?
The underlying question has grown louder about whether Atlanta could aspire to true contention with Young as a leading man.

Good time to leave the country.
The #Commanders get blown out by the Lions and fall to 3-7. They've lost 5 straight.
They've lost by at least 3 scores in 4 consecutive games. The last time that happened to the franchise came in 1954.
Not much to say at this point.
Washington heads to Madrid tomorrow.

If there are local elections in your area, and you haven't voted yet, today would be a good day to exercise your right. They don't get to do this sort of thing in every country, and who knows how much longer we'll get to do it here.

Once more with feeling: the problem was/is not the manager. The problem is the roster. Hiring somebody from the outside does not automatically make things better, though we agree the player contracts will make moves difficult. That’s on AA.
To look at what's gone on the last 3 years and saying "Yep, this is fine. More of this, please," is absolute insanity. There are only so many ways to shake things up when literally the whole club has long term deals. They just wasted a big one.

Well, the Hawks are national news. So there’s that.

Of course, fans who didn’t like Snitker and wanted a “fresh start” probably won’t like this hire. But I maintain this team’s problems stem largely from the roster, not the manager. The onus is on AA (and ownership) to fix that.
Braves naming Walt Weiss as Brian Snitker’s replacement. Smart baseball guy and good dude. A little surprised GM Alex Anthopoulos didn’t go outside the organization but I have no problem with this hire.

Agree. But "ballpark" size is subjective hah.
With Key, I don't think Tech has to match some of the gaudy offers from other schools, they just have to be in the ballpark. He wants to be here.
