DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.

The district includes Tarrant County, a +5% Trump county + bellwether for the state.

Melissa may become the most powerfully destructive storm ever to form in the Western Pacific. It is aimed squarely at an island nation which rarely sees powerful storms. The int'l community that normally spearheads preparation, recovery, and rebuilding efforts is missing one of its major funders.

I say this as someone who was NOT a popular jock in high school: Allowing losers who struggle to socialize into positions of influence because they could use a computer was a mistake. A generation of guys angry they couldn't do a pull up & got turned down for dates is taking it out on the country
