He takes a lot of stick but I've always been a fan of Mark Selby's ability to dig deep. A man who seems to play his best when coming back from behind. This week has been some of his best ever - some genuinely gobsmacking shots and positional play. He is a deserving winner. 🏆 #uksnookerchampionship

Yes. I miss this.
I know I'm showing my whole age here but remember that thrill of getting a mixtape from someone? A mix of music that they made just for you?

This thing isn't shifting! Still cough every time I speak and my head feels like it's going to split open! Feels a lot like when I had Covid. Three days off work, cancelled all plans for today & tomorrow (including much needed haircut!)... 🤧🤯😷

Pls send film recommendations! #filmsky #moviesky

Take a break. Go outside. Pet a cat. Do something "frivolous". Spend time looking at pretty things that an artist made. Fondle some smooth and shiny rocks. Eat a really good meal. Engage all your senses and remember that there are good things in the world.

I hope someone draws this wonderful story about Tom Stoppard's Arcadia and the power of the arts to help us see things differently, to the attention of our Education Secretary. Do read it, it will lift your spirits.

This is both hilarious and tragic: a consequence of living so much of our lives in the digital world that some of us apparently think structures look the way they do because long-ago people lacked imagination, not because of physics and the properties of materials.
He claims the bricks were inspired by the block chain. Engineers, please look away now.
