have been carrying around this beautiful glass pot of honey that I got from a hilltop tribe in Northern Thailand, was going to make a great Christmas present for someone. got a flight today and just opened my bag to find the entire thing has fucking detonated. everything I own coated in honey.

in Luang Prabang in Laos all the bars close at 11pm due to a curfew, and everyone decamps to a bowling alley a few km out of town which presumably bribes the local coppers to stay open late and sell everyone weed. it also has an archery range for some reason. would love to know the injury statistics

Absolutely bankrupting myself on private Thai healthcare so I can keep having my ADHD drugs, it really does sting. But it's good for me. Can't escape it. And I'm never getting anything in the UK without a much more expensive private diagnosis there (though cheaper drugs I guess...)
