Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 85th day out of the last 97.

12 days of work in over 3 months.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

This flew under the radar, but thanks to Trump's EPA cuts, Energy Star could shut down for good.

Energy Star isn't just a sticker on your appliances. It's an important program that saves consumers $40B/year.

So much for all that talk about "efficiency."

It makes insurers cover 12-month supplies of HRT which can be obtained at pharmacies, allowing trans people to stockpile medication to outlast supply disruptions.

The refusal to provide people due process before shipping them off to foreign prisons is criminal and intolerable. It must not be normalized. Everyone who believes in justice and America needs to speak up now.

Liberals these days do not want to talk about the fact that democracy is how we got to where we are. They blame SCOTUS or gerrymandering or money in politics, etc. All of that is a product of democracy too. Let's be honest with ourselves.
