I receive $1500.00 from the government before my rent is paid. Rent is 582.00 a month on disability. Food is anywhere from 100-150 per week, phone bill is 50.00. Laundry is $30 per week. If I am unable to work one month, I will have 318.00 left to survive on. Raise disability rates now!

I have people who were paying twenty bucks for their whole cases now apologizing to ME because with SNAP benefits getting suspended, they can't pay even that and also buy food.
No one should have to choose between their lawyer and food.
Both should be provided for free, actually.
