The smash success of "Sinners" could shift Hollywood's power balance
The industry's response to Ryan Coogler's film is the latest in a trend desperate to skew the public's opinion.

Another reason I think conservatives are leaning into such dramatic artificial-looking appearances via tanning, surgery, filler, etc is because it creates an engaging visual aesthetic for social media video content. It’s the same culture of influencers and reality TV. Attention over substance

By their definition, any notable accomplishment achieved by someone who was not a straight white male -- no matter how or when it happened -- counts as "DEI" and "bias against whites."

It's racism, pure and simple. Stop pretending there's anything more complicated at work here. It's racism.
This is Pete Hegseth’s Department of Defense. Labeling the highest ranking black Medal of Honor recipient “DEI.” Pure racism. My latest post. open.substack.com/pub/fpwellma...

Meanwhile over on the other place, rightwing free speech warriors (this guy is a former DeSantis campaign staffer) are calling for me to be denaturalized and deported because they don’t like my political speech. This is what fascism and racism looks like, folks.

This is outrageous. Judge Boasberg’s order went against government agencies which were in the US, and which were in direct contact with the plane. He must hold them in contempt of court.

You will not understand MAGA/Trumpism until you understand how many Americans are domestic abusers or grew up in abusive environments. Trump sits in at the top of the dominance heirarchy for them in a way that does not make sense to those of us who grew up in healthy families.
